How to get to the beach
The Marciana Marina beach is located right next to the town's seafront. Its northerly exposure ensures that it is always cool and breezy. Furthermore, this beautiful beach is never too crowded, even in July and August, and is extremely convenient for anyone staying in town who doesn't want to travel by car. The seafront offers all the services beachgoers need: bars, restaurants, ice cream parlors, shops, and much more. The beach extends for a total of 350 meters and is divided in two by a pier where ferries dock for excursions to the island of Capraia, Corsica, and San Vincenzo. The stretch of beach near the town is made up of sand and small dark gravel, while the westernmost part, located beyond the pier, is made up of golden sand. The two beaches are separated by a small marina and are located within the bay where Marciana Marina is located, while a third stretch of shore lies further west, at the end of the seafront. This last stretch is called La Fenicia and is made up of smooth pebbles. The main beach, located close to the town, is Perfect for families with children, who can also count on a beach club equipped with umbrellas, deck chairs, and a pedal boat and canoe rental service.
